In honor of World Emoji Day on July 17, we took GE's Emojiscience one step further by launching a Facebook Messenger bot on GE's channel to test user's emoji skills in the first Emoji Science Decoding Challenge. Dot the Messenger bot (an homage to Thomas Edison’s nickname for his daughter) challenges users with emoji codes, ranging from simple to complex, representing science facts or various moments in science history.

Facebook video link posts drove users to the GE Messenger bot through paid media and organic page instructions.
