An infographic of the Oxford English Corpus, an ongoing research project by the Oxford Press that tracks the evolution of the English language through a wide variety of sources including literary novels, specialist journals, newspapers, magazines, chatrooms, emails and weblogs. It is the largest corpus of its kind, containing over two billion words.
